Status of the ABJ LeMONs Team
Update:
Hey, Eric: Thanks much for the app. Afraid the New England race filled up to
capacity by the deadline, so we can't accept any more cars this time. Please
feel free to come on out and watch, though--that usually cures people of
wanting to compete anyway....

24 HOURS OF LeMONS
Having reviewed the many race entrance rejections I have received in the last few weeks, it is with great regret that I must inform you I am unable to accept your rejection at this time. This year, after applying to a great many races, I received an especially fine crop of rejections. Unfortunately, the number of rejections that I can accept is limited.
Each of my rejections was reviewed carefully and on an individual basis. Many factors were taken into account - the size of the race, quality of the track, location, reputation, costs and length of the event. I am certain that most races I attempted to enter are more than qualified to reject me. I am aware of the keen disappointment my decision may bring.
Throughout my deliberations, I have kept in mind the time and effort it may have taken for you to reach your decision to reject me. As such I see no clear alternative to continuing to build my car and prepare my team for this season's upcoming race. SEE YOU IN THE SUMMER!
Sincerely,
Josh Menke

We duct taped this letter to a case of beer and jammed it into the local post box. Stay tuned to see how this bold strategy plays out...
